How Does Sewer Jetting Work?

How does sewer jetting work?

We pump hot or cold water, at pressures up to 4,000 PSI, through a hose equipped with specialized nozzles directly into your drain. The high-pressure water blasts through the pipe, breaking apart clogs, cutting through tree roots, and flushing out debris into the main sewer line.

The size of your drain or pipe, along with the severity and location of the blockage, determines the hose length, nozzle type, water temperature, and pressure level we use. Before we begin jetting, we inspect the line with a scope to pinpoint the problem and choose the right equipment for the job.

Our powerful water jetting nozzles break up and remove clogs and debris, clearing your pipes and restoring proper flow. Once the blockage is gone, we scope the line again to confirm that everything is clean and free-flowing.

When to Schedule Sewer Jetting

To keep your sewer system healthy, schedule jetting at regular intervals. Sewer jetting offers an environmentally friendly, safe, non-invasive, and chemical-free way to maintain your drains. Regular maintenance can help you avoid costly repairs, messy backups, and major headaches down the line.

For most homes, we recommend sewer jetting every 18 to 24 months, depending on the age and condition of your pipes. If you’re moving into a new home, we also suggest jetting the system before you settle in.
