Hydro-Jetting

What is Hydro-jetting?

Hydro-Jetting, also known as water jetting or sewer jetting, is a safe, efficient, environmentally friendly, chemically free, and non-invasive drain cleaning system. This helps restore and keep your plumbing drainage system healthy, clean, and free from hazardous blockages. Hydro-Jetting can be used to maintain drains, and clear blockages on residential, commercial, RV’s, and municipal sewer drainage systems. Our hot water Hydro-Jet can also be used to thaw frozen sewer pipes. How does hydro-jetting work?

Types of Hydro-Jetting

There are 2 types of Hydro-jetting, hot and cold.

Here at Jet Eye Sewer and Scope, we have the added advantage of being able to choose either hot water jetting or cold water jetting. We use a Kubota diesel-powered jetter that can pump 12 gallons per minute at 4000 psi.

Hot Water – The benefit of hot water jetting is that the hot water is very efficient at removing grease and stubborn clogs. The hot water allows us to eliminate grease, oil, and other stubborn clogs that traditional snaking and even cold water jetting cannot.  This also disinfects the sewer system and eliminates odors. Our hot water jetter can be used to thaw your frozen sewer pipes to avoid any breakage. Hot water jetting is great for restaurants, car dealerships, hotels, and anywhere there is a large amount of oil and grease buildup.

Cold Water – Cold water jetting is the best alternative to traditional snaking, without any chemicals.  Many times, drain snakes can force the blockage further down the line, without fully solving the problem. Water is safer for the sewer pipes because it can clean the entire pipe from the house to the mainline and it can bend and move in ways that a snake cannot.

Several types of cleaning nozzles can be used for flushing sewer pipes, root cutting, descaling and polishing.
